Two versions of an abstract made from N031 Crane at MShed Bristol. First a strict Monochrome version followed by a B&W split toned version using blue/yellow.
This image reminds me of the Golden Section to be found in classical composition rules. Such a rule says it demonstrates a natural growth spiral that appeals to our sense of harmony.
I also like the tonal harmony and balance in this image.
Captured last Saturday at Gainsborough Old Hall.
Same image as previous post but with split toning as Red Shadows and Cyan Highlights.
Another image captured at Montacute House on one of the stairways. Converted to B&W (RGB) and split toned using colour balance adjustment layer in CS5 – yellow highlights/red shadows.
